hey friends,
is this what a saturn return is supposed to feel like? ouch??
i've been in baja mexico for the past couple of months. lately my path has been guided by Soma and my dear friend and maestro Ronin.
the arc of my travels is getting clear; as nepal broke me open, thailand crystallized revelation, and now in baja, something quieter is happening. less shattering, more clarifying.
there's been a lot of Soma sessions under the desert sun. and somewhere between the Soma and the circling vultures, i continually rediscover the key to freedom. just This is it.
highlights ✨
- acquired several new instruments and other noisy trinkets. flutes, harmonica, throat singing. my newfound musicality has been a source of endless entertainment.
- visited nevada city to gather with the moonflower mahasangha for mayday. we druids danced the maypole so you don't have to.
- wrote some fascinating articles about the medicine: when buddhism met ayahuasca, and one on spiritual parasites.

i'm excited to be back in minnesota for june and august <3 let's have tea.
i'll also be in the sierra nevadas in california for july. then back to asia this fall, where i'm planning on a 3-month program at a monastery in nepal.
