dear friends,
lost, but i was found.
it didn't take long after leaving home for the medicine to scoop me up. i've been working deeply with the plant medicine Soma, an ayahuasca analog.
my time in thailand began 3 months ago as a unique opportunity to explore the intersection of dharma and entheogens. it's evolved into a radiant apprenticeship with two amazing new teachers: Ronin (of Somayana) and the Vine (b.caapi)
soma resting on a foundation of dharma is the skeleton key that opens all locks.
i hope to continue learning from this medicine so that someday i may help tend to this sacred heritage.
highlights ✨
- took a short trip back to nepal to receive the nature of mind teachings from Mingyur Rinpoche. this marks the beginning of my practice 🙇
- spent two weeks on a solo aya retreat in the thai jungle
- a Martin Backpacker guitar found its way to me; it's been an amazing blessing and i've accidentally become fairly skilled
- wrote a literary flash about a cool dream i had in bangkok, it's been nice to explore writing fiction

i'll be traveling with Ronin for this coming chapter. the plan is to spend march in thailand before heading to baja for spring & early summer.
