may was fucking hard. and yet, there have been moments of beauty and clarity threaded through the grief. i'm reminded again that i am deeply held. that my life is full of bright, loving people. and that i am still here. thank you

- Hakuin on Kensho (3.5) – quite a good read studying Hakuin's Four Ways of Knowing with an emphasis on kensho / awakening
- Kensho: The Heart of Zen (2) – commentary on some particularly obscure texts that feel mostly unusable
- China Root (3) – an interesting etymological dive into the Taoist roots of Ch'an, breaking down zen words into their fundamental pictographic meanings
- currently: The Integral Vision – so far an ideal introduction to Ken Wilber's work
